OutfitGen FAQ
Is It Safe to Upload Photos to OutfitGen?
Learn how OutfitGen processes uploads, what data may be retained, and the precautions to take before sharing a photo.
What happens after an upload
Your browser sends the image and prompt to the service, and the image is transmitted to fal.ai, OutfitGen's AI infrastructure provider, for processing. The finished result is returned to the service and may appear in generation history for signed-in users.
The Privacy Policy explains that generation records may retain hosted image references so users can view history and so OutfitGen can investigate abuse or technical issues. Service logs and usage records may also contain request timing, generation counts, credit use, IP information, device data, or error information.
Use a privacy-aware upload checklist
- Upload only photos you own or have permission and consent to process.
- Avoid identity documents, financial information, medical records, private addresses, or other unnecessary sensitive details.
- Crop out bystanders, children, computer screens, badges, and background information that the edit does not need.
- Use a copy of the photo and remove location metadata when that information is sensitive.
- Review fal.ai's terms and privacy policy if its role as a processing provider matters to your risk assessment.
Privacy is a shared responsibility
No online service can promise zero risk. Account security, device access, network conditions, third-party processors, legal requests, and user choices all affect the overall privacy picture. Use a strong sign-in method and report unexpected history or account behavior to support.
The current Privacy Policy is the authoritative source for collected data, purposes, providers, retention, and user rights. Read it before processing sensitive or professional material. If you need access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request, contact the privacy address listed there.
